On top of that there’s more horror with the nightmare-fueled Figment, the remake of Atari classic Caverns of Mars, DC’s latest video game offering with Justice League: Cosmic Chaos, Record of Agarest War and loads more. That’s been in the works for a while, and casts players as a demonic “oni” who’s been beaten by a great hero, and must rebuild his bad rep. I guess it depends on where in the world you are really. So it’s sort of new and it’s sort of not. Originally released back in 2008, this new release is a re-release of a game that only saw shelves in the Japanese market. But now that spell comes to a halt with the arrival of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Fatal Frame, hasn’t it? The last title in the set arrived in 2014, and the horror series has been dry since.
